Privacy
Your notes are private. We keep it simple.
Your notes are private
All notes are private and user-specific. Each note belongs only to the account that created it. Notes are not shared with other users, and they are not indexed by search engines.
How your data is stored
Notes are stored in two places:
- Locally in your browser (localStorage) for offline access and fast loading
- In Firestore (Google Cloud) synced to your account for backup and cross-device access
Both storage locations are tied to your account. Only you can access your notes when logged in.
What we collect
We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:
- Email address (for authentication and account access)
- Username (for your account identification)
- Your notes and account data
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data
- We don't share your data with third parties
- We don't use third-party analytics or advertising
- We don't index your notes for search engines
Account deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete your account, all notes stored in Firestore will be permanently removed. Local storage in your browser may need to be cleared manually.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated to users. The current version is always available on this page.
